Ribchester earned his ranking with a dominating 3 ¾
length victory in the Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes (G1).
It was his second start of the season, after finishing third in the Dubai Turf Sponsored By
DP World (G1).
Sitting just behind Ribchester in the
new rankings is dual Guineas hero CHURCHILL (IRE) [123]. The 3-year-old colt followed up his one
length score in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas

the double.
Also in Europe, BRAMETOT
(IRE) [121], ENABLE (GB) [121],
and HIGHLAND REEL (IRE) [121] join
this year’s rankings after strong showings in key races.
Enable, who has won three of four lifetime starts, pulled away to
win the Investec Oaks (G1) by five
lengths, while globetrotting Highland Reel got back to his winning ways in the Investec Coronation Cup (G1).
Meanwhile, Brametot notched his fourth
consecutive victory by winning the QIPCO
Prix du Jockey Club (G1). He came into the race off a win in the Abu Dhabi Poule d’Essai des Poulains (G1)
over LE BRIVIDO (FR) [120].
Elsewhere, CLOUD COMPUTING
(USA) [120] posted an upset in the Preakness
Stakes (G1) in the United States, while in Japan, REY DE ORO (JPN) [120] took the Tokyo Yushun
