Open Forum of the 48th IFHA Conference Available via Live Video Stream

A live video stream of Monday’s Open Forum of the 48th International Conference of Horseracing Authorities will be available on the IFHA’s website (ifhaonline.org) beginning at 10:30 CEST (GMT+2). A replay of the live video stream will be available in the days following the conference.

The Jockey Club (USA) chairman Ogden Mills (Dinny) Phipps will deliver the keynote address of the conference at the France Galop Offices in Paris, France.

The International Conference of Horseracing Authorities, chaired by Louis ROMANET, will spotlight two main areas, “Racing Surfaces and Safety” and the second topic is titled “Building a Successful Social Media Strategy”.

The conference will also feature a report detailing global lab certification and other matters forthcoming from the International Conference of Racing Analysts and Veterinarians (ICRAV), an update on pertinent issues related to the international movement of horses, and the IFHA’s agreement with the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE). A brief update on the upcoming 2015 Pan American Conference will be highlighted. In addition, racing in Scandinavia and Korea will be presented.
