Israeli police has stopped the advertising of online gaming sites on two popular information websites, www.walla.co.il and www.sportline.co.il .

The action is part of the wider policy to crack down on online gambling in Israel. Earlier this year, the State Department already announced to take action against credit companies that provide transaction services for illegal gambling web sites.
