Replays and Presentations Available from the 56th IFHA Conference | |
The PowerPoint presentations and video replay from the 56th International Conference of Horseracing Authorities, which was organized by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA), can now be found at the IFHA website (ifhaonline.org) or by following the direct link at ifhaonline.org/default.asp?section=Resources&area=10&conf=56&cYr=2022. The gathering was held at the offices of France Galop in Paris, France, and was chaired by Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges. It was the first Conference held in-person since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Topics included the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA) in the United States, broadening horse racing’s appeal globally, addressing climate change through sport, and learnings from the pandemic. The first International Conference of Horseracing Authorities was organized and hosted by the Société d'Encouragement in Paris, France, on October 9, 1967. Since 1994, the annual conference has been organized at France Galop headquarters by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities. In 2021, the Japan Racing Association (JRA) became the official partner of the Conference.
